We are fine at DL next year. Just need to coach up our talented LB freshmen. Lots of talent there just not much experience. By week 6 they will have plenty of experience.

Indeed. LB is a huge ?....Cooper is supposedly legit, but zero game reps at LB. Counting on LBs w out experience in the SEC isn't ideal. If, however, the DL is dominant, I hope it takes a bit of pressure off of them.

Even though he's a freshman, Griffin could be in that mix as well.

There's so much depth on the DL.

At that point in time it was true. Foster was the #2 prospect in the nation and was higher rated than Green coming out of HS. In terms of physical tools, I think Foster is better than Nkemdiche, Lawson, Adams, or any other recruit in the nation; he has great instincts, superb strength, good speed.

Foster bought into his own hype. He's out of shape and a headcase. That's not good for a guy you want to be the field general for your defense. He has the God-given ability to be the best player at UGA in the last 15 years but unless he under goes a major turn-around he'll never live up to his billing. And there's the matter that he has to SIGN with UGA, obviously.

At this point.....yeah ? we're losing damn near our entire LB core....

In my opinion, the potential for him to be a cancer and off-the-field distraction far outweighs the skill set he brings to a team. He'd likely start at a lot of schools as a freshman, but I do have questions as to how long he could stay on a team.

That is like saying "we have 6 LB commitments plus a few already on the roster. Adding Clowney isn't going to magically make our DE corp better.

Foster is probably the closest kid to Clowney as far as natural ability and talent wise if you ask me.
