I honestly wish we could go back like 2 years and eliminate all posters that signed up after that and those that wanted to post on the board would have to have their posts reviewed by the Elder members of Cockytalk to see if they are worthy to post here anymore or be told to go pack their things and get out!

Or just bring Neg rep back and once you dip below a certain point your posts per day would be limited........That would be an awesome option!

new people should have a post limit anyways, and have to be approved by mods after their first 100 posts or so

But the thing is. Most of the guys that were causing trouble yesterday have been here for 1-2 years.

Bring back neg rep and if you get to much in one day or hour or w/e time frame you lose posting privileges for X amount of time.......Kinda like a Cockytalk timeout!

My daughter who is 15months gets timeouts when she doesn't listen sometimes people on here need the same treatment.......

I think banning people is extreme and just promotes trolling b/c most will go create another screen name.......If you temporarily revoke posting privileges they may just be discouraged and just leave for the day.

The board needs to be shut down for a day or so now. Completely off line. When you try to sign on you get a message that CT has been shut down while it is being fumigated. After 24-48 hours open it back up but EVERYONE would first get a splash screen informing them of the rules around here and a new lack of wiling to put up with violations. Make everyone agree to the new policy in order to advance to the boards. Then follow through with it.
