David Pitchko
I searched and didn't see a thread or any discussion on this, just one mention in the Kenny Miles thread that didn't get recognized...
David passed away December 3rd from a battle of Pick's Disease. He was one of my all-time favorite Gamecocks as a kid. He took me onto the field at the end of the game at UNC after seeing me there and remembering me from the football camp I attended over the summer. I know many other fans here 30 years old plus vividly remember David. We lost a great Gamecock to a horrible disease last week. RIP DP http://lexington-sc.patch.com/articl...ormer-gamecock

Didn't know that. He was a favorite of mine as well. As kids we would argue over who was Rush, Platt or Pitchko during our pick-up games! RIP
