A realistic top 10 next year ?

Talk about SEC hate....but it has to be close to that...if not that....

I don't think A&M will be #1. They may be up near the top but don't see them that high. It could happen though.

I was going by preseason standings and with whats coming back for each team. Johnny football a year later is going to be ranked No.1 preseason.

I think a lot of it will be based on bowl wins and returning starters. If we win our bowl we should start top ten, and maybe as high as top five. Especially if someone above us flops in their bowl.

A&M loses 2 tackles that maybe NFL First rounders. They will be top 10, but not #1.

Voters also aren't just going to give the SEC all the top 5 teams. They'll find a way to mix in some others. Ohio State isn't even on your list and they will without a doubt be in teh top 5.

It's really hard to say right now b/c we don't know what players are going pro. If Murray comes back for Georgia then they are probably a top 3 team, but without him, they won't be top 10.

You are right but this is based on what I see before the bowls. The A&M ranking will be there because of Johnny football. The defensive losses won't even be a factor in preseason rankings. Ohio St. should be higher, that is true. Just something to have fun with on a slow morning.

UGA might be 9 or 10 if Murray returns. Losing 8 starters defense will kill a team...granted returning 10 on offense can help soften that blow.

I dont' know about the top ten, but anything less than a trip to the SECCG for Sc is a letdown. All the talent coming back and coming in, plus a more favorable schedule equals East champions. All these wins in the last 3 seasons, yet we have no BCS apps or an SEC championship. Andy Reid has won a ton of games in Philly, but the reason fans have been down on him in recent seasons is b/c none of those wins are of any substance. It's time to nut up or shut up.

This is a little more realistic, I think we'll start in the top 10 but even if we blow out Michigan and land a couple more recruits they won't put us in the top 5

ohio state, oregon, possibly notre dame will be in that top 10 mix. theyll flush it out a bit and youll see one sec team drop a little further than they probably should like with michigan being inexplicably ahead of us preseason this year. oklahoma has found a way to be in the top 5 the past two years, id expect them to be in that top 10 mix too.

all is said and done we wont have the top 6, but 6 in the top 10 is certainly possible.
