I didn't get to see the presentation live, but upon seeing it this morning, I was struck by the fact that this young man is smart, articulate, and humble. His God given ability on the field seems to be just a small part of what this young man is all about.
I could be wrong, but sometimes good guys do finish first, and I think that the right young man captured the award last night. I would imagine that wherever his life leads him, he will be successful............................Let's just hope it's not at Williams Brice Stadium.

It would be really cool if we get to see him in Atlanta next year. I would love to see him and Clowney play against one another. Also, I hope he goes pro after that so we don't have to see him in the regular season.

Adrian Peterson. Should have won. TRUE freshman bias was still floating in the air back then. I congrate him but he had a year to learn the system so even though he is listed as a freshman and learn from Tannehill, can't ignore that fact well, I can't. I see him as a sophomore.

As much as I think Walker should have won in 1980 at least Rogers had Heisman worthy numbers and was very good, the screw job of a UGA player was Garrison Hearst in 92 when Geno Toretta won it.

Michael Vick wasn't a true freshman. He was right around the beginning of calling redshirt players by the incorrect term. He was first major player you kept hearing how good he was as a freshman even though he was actually a sophomore.

Gino has to be one of the top 3 worst Heisman winners. He didn't een get drafted. That was the beginning that the QB or big name offensive player of the top 3 team wins the Heisman.
