It was a gimmick for the publicity just like his ballet. It was toward the end of his career, as he was not seeing much action from the teams. And he was almost cut from the bobsled team. To be a two sport athlete like Deion and Bo, you have to actively train to play both sports during the same time period for a period of time. Nothing against Walker, he was a great running back. But saying because he stepped off a football field and did the bobsled for one Olympics is not the same as Thorpe, Sanders and Jackson.

Although we will never really know just how great Bo Jackson could have been, the only other athlete that was better than Bo Jackson was the The Great Jim Thorpe. Jim Thorpe was great in Track - won the greatest award in the Olympics, was a very good baseball player in the Major Leagues, and was an outstanding college football player who went on to be a great NFL Player. Deion Sanders, Jackie Robinson, and especially Herschel Walker don't even belong in the same paragraph with Jim Thorpe and Bo Jackson.

That being said, why does the University of Georgia play "Glory, Glory, Halleluiah" at their games, which is a song that Sherman's (A Man Who Would Be Tried For War Crimes Today) Army sang as they marched through Georgia and South Carolina burning, killing, and raping as they made war upon old men, women, and children for the vast majority of their rampage in both states. For Georgia football fans to sing this song to me shows that they either don't know their history or they don't care that a Dang Yankee burned a 60 mile path across their Bulldog Nation????????????? Should we as Southerners be offended every time we hear this gosh awful song being played? Fact is if you look close enough you can always find someone who is going to be offended by what the majority of people are doing.

I do however enjoy the 30 for 30 Show!

We used to play Dixie, it got axed, we used to have the Dixie Redcoat band it got axed, we used to pray for the boys on the field it got axed, I could keep going but you get the idea.

I fell your pain, but why doesn't the Bulldog Nation get together and come up with another song? There are tons of songs that would rally your fans and not offend anyone. You mean like, "Who Let the Dawgs Out?" as covered by the Baja Men for a movie called Rugrats in PAris: The Movie?


The movie came out in 2000 and was actually a sequel to the original Rugrats movie that came out in that came out in 1998. In 1998, "Who Let the Dogs Out?" was originally written and recorded by Anslem Douglas for Trinidad and Tobago's Carnival season that year.

If you haven't been down there for that season, go. It is a life experience.

Best I've seen play...including Herschel. To run a sub 4.2 40 at any size is just ridiculous...he was around 240=super human. Tim Brown said he was a jerk in the NFL. Abut explained why....Bo couldn't communicate anyone. He can now, and is a solid guy. Heck.anyone who likes to hunt & fish is okay in my book
