The recruits have a right to change their minds. The coaches can't make them commit, nor did they let the other schools catch up. Does any one consider that the other schools have things to offer? The coaches do the best they can, and so do the coaches at other schools. In the end, it's up to the recruit. Until someone with real knowledge posts, I am assuming USC still has a very good chance.

Have to hope the coaches are able to hang on and get him to Columbia. Would be very disappointing to miss this guy.

He's coming here on January 18th, which is our big recruiting weekend. Not sure when he's announcing, so that's obviously going to be big in regards to getting him.

He is not a take for Ohio State and ASU is all the way across the country.

Letting recruits slip away. What garbage.

We're not letting anyone slip away. You can't force them to come to your school. Where the kids attention is, has been, and always be their choice, unless you expect some illegal activity to influence them. SOS doesn't do that and we don't want kids like that in our program.

We don't brow beat kids like some other schools and that approach has gotten us many recruits in the past, plus I believe we are pretty truthful with our recruits, another good thing.

If we lose a kid or two in recruiting almost every year, so be it. We also manage to bring in a kid or two most years that decided they made a mistake in committing to another school first or other things happened to send them our way, unexpectedly. We don't know yet if it will happen to any other of our recruits.

We had far less people whine when our program was doing much worse.

I watched the video interview on rivals in which he "names his top 3," and I didn't hear any change from what has been reported for while. It still sounds like we have an obvious lead with ASU making a little push and OSU vaguely in the background. There have always been other schools in the conversation with us as the leader. Unless someone knows something beyond what is intimated in the video, the freakout going on here seems to be paranoia with little basis. But, I'm assuming the video on rivals is what is causing this. Perhaps someone knows more than I do.
