^Would happen at any school. This normally wouldn't matter so much to gamecock fans except the fact that he is, hold on let me outline this for you:

-a high 4*

-was one of our most solid commitments, no one saw this coming
-had Gamecock roots
-committed to play for one of our biggest rivals/competition IN OUR DIVISION.

I hope he has a speedy recovery and everything goes well for him in that facet. But so far as his playing days, I hope he is buried in the depth chart and never plays a down. I don't care who you are or how old are. 18 isn't the new 12. I was raised that once you make a commitment, you honor it. Especially after all out staff and doctors have done for him.

I get it, I really, really do, because I'm upset about it too. But that doesn't mean I suddenly hope the young man doesn't succeed (with the obvious exception of when he faces us; in which case I hope he gets trucked, burned, whatever else).

Well over the last two years we haven't had a single decommitment and picked up some quality guys like Moody, Davis, and Clowney real late. The coaches might have gotten complacent but I think that these two might have been mostly out of their hands.

And I think it's uncalled for to have Marcus as his twitter header 2 hours after he decommitted and committed to Florida. And having dr guy do his surgery. And "you can't spell Carolina w/o Rolin."

I'm mad right now and on an Internet message board. I could really care less what the Rolin family thinks of me because their son didn't think enough about how he was carrying himself.

He's actually an upgrade from Rolin. He could play this coming season, which is what we need.
