We really miss Beamer and Graham on the recruiting trail. Recruiting hasn't been the same since both of these guys left.

We miss Graham more so than Beamer but not as much as you think. And you also have to remember we have had a couple straight weak years in SC in terms of being able to build the core of our class instate. For us to put up big time classes we need to have a nice talent pool to work from in SC. Next year should be the best year we've had in a few to work from and we are sitting very nicely with most of those instate players.

Agreed but I was stating a point we don't miss those coaches as much as you would think. It still hurts but I when you look at the rankings you have to realize that at least per 247 we have 3 players in the state rated equal to or above Terry for next year and a few more 4 star caliber players in the state. Stars don't mean everything but that does indicate that there is more SEC talent in SC next year than we've had since Clowney's or Lattimore's class.

I like what you stated. If they don't want to be here then let them go somewhere else. Our coaches have a good handle on things and I trust in what they are doing. You can't get them all!

nah, we are just going to have other guys step up. We still have a great 2 Deep next year with Vic, Legree, Ahmad, Elder at CB. We'll see if Rico recovers.

At LB, we'll have Lewis and Cooper, with possibly Bryant and Turner/Roberts/Holloman backing them up.

I think we'll be fine w/o Rolin or Langley, I didn't see either starting next year anyways. If anything, it should make next year's LB/CB recruits very intrigued b/c of the lack of bodies. That and we'll have another top 20 defense again.

I don't think anyone including any of the staff were counting on Langley or Rolin to start. Rolin was almost a certainty to redshirt with the knee injury.

The point here is that we lost 2 of our top recruits to rival SEC East schools and that SUCKS bad, no other way to spin it.
