IT'S MY GAMEFACE !!

I voted for Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain in this matchup. There are a
handfull of very successful Country Music artist who achieved a lot of awards and became Country Music Legends in their careers that I absolutely could not bear to listen to. George Jones was one of those people. My dad loved his music, but to me, every song I ever heard him do is like listening to someone drag their fingernails across a blackboard. I loved those artists in all genres of music who were "unique" in sound and style. Willie Nelson was one of those people. He (IMO) was the Tom Petty of Country Music. Excellent Song writer, and Excellent Live artist that didn't have a "melodic" tone in his voice, but no one can doubt the passion of music. Blue Eyes Crying In the Rain was just another Great Song, from a Great Writer who loved doing what he did / does. He'll always be remembered as a Rebel and a Poet in a Genre that wasn't really tolerant of that kind of person or music with it's foundational fans.
