I know exactly who is he is and his committment story, still don't think its funny. The guy picked someone else, we moved on and we did well. Hopefully he gets his life straight, doesn't do this crap anymore so you and I don't have to pay for his food while in prison.

Oh my, you are right.. nobody ever made ANY jokes when Cammy Cam stole laptops at UF. Please excuse me while I climb onto your moral high ground.

I think anybody who commits to a place like thug U is laughable. So them committing a crime there seems funny, as that is a football program known to have had many criminals and "bad apples" associated with and in it. This just perpetuates the true stereotype.

Probably for the same reason every other team in the country found it
funny enough to make fun of our program up 'til a couple of years ago when
one or more of our players got into trouble with the law. ...Lot of good
jokes made by a lot of other team's fans during the Laptop raid of 2004.

Personally, I don't feel one bit sorry for guys like this whether they're
on our team or someone elses. I don't care what his upbringing or
background is. If he's being spotlighted for a possible shot at the pro
level (which is what college sports does for a lot of kids), and if he's getting
a free education that a large majority of young people in this country
can't afford simply because of his athletic abilities, He should at least
have enough common sense to appreciate that, and not be a common
thief or thug. If he chooses not to, then he accepts the responsibility
for his actions including the consequences for them.

yes, and that doesnt matter. i was just stating the possibility of why mtrain may have responded the way he did, thats all there was too it. Nowhere in that post did i ever agree with him. that is precisely why i stated "some may find that poetic justice".

Just saw this story. Seems like he got in trouble in high school. Maybe thats why Randy didnt go after him. Golden was new to the job when he recruited him. Hope Finnie gets a second chance and moves on and gets it together. He has alot of potential.
