I Know We Love the Block C, But...

Has anyone who has photoshop skills ever done the Gamecock Logo without the block C against the all-white helmet as a background, with the Gamecock Logo made much larger because of the space deleting the Block C would provide? (Making the Gamecock logo discernible)

Our logo is really awesome, but so frequently it is undersized or put against a garnet or black background so that it is very hard to make out, especially at any distance.

I would love for fans to actually be able to make out the details of our beloved logo.

People on here have cool updated logos with the block C and without it as avatars and sigs. We need to modernize it.

Count me among the "Garnet Helmet" Mob. It's a striking color (and one of our 2 primary ones). We should use it. That modernized one floating around (the graphic mock-up, not the fake photo) is bad-ace.

I like the helmet without the Block C too. I love the big Gamecock look and I think it stands out more.

I'm for alternating black, white, and garnet helmets. I still don't understand why we had gray unis for the LSU game, but never had on black all season.

JESUS... it's called branding. Your have to keep your logo the same so people recognize it, people recognize the block-c logo as a whole as the South Carolina logo. Things they don't recognize as the South Carolina logo: 1) just the gamecock 2) just the C 3) interlocking SC 4) interlocking USC

Do you think fans of Michigan, Ohio State, Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Texas, and the other historic programs think about changing their logo all the time?

I know the gray uni's were for a great cause, but i didn't like them. Nothing that attractive, IMO.

I love the idea of updating/modernizing the logo. I've mentioned using a claw/spur logo before, but I'm apparently in a small minority that like the idea. Something tells me the "leather helmet" bunch will be against this idea too.

I could live with the ancient logo for a throwback day only. The block C has been our logo for far too long to go changing it.
