I am not a HUGE zombie type person...but I enjoy the genre and like a good plot. Everyone seems to love it. Hmm.

Season one was actually the best season. Season 2 was terrible. They changed show runners during season 2 and season 3 has shown signs of improvement. However the show is stuck with a lot of unlike able characters.

I would never recommend watching it via Netflix. Save that for Mad Men, The Wire, Breaking Bad, etc.

B/c it's not a good show.

I got into all the other shows I listed through Netflix b/c they were so good that would burn through 4 episodes at a time.

With Dead I can get through 1 DVR'd episode per week when nothing else is on. It's not a horrible show and it gives you something to watch however it is not a must watch that you could burn through on Netflix in a short period of time.

I will say I do enjoy Game of Thrones.. but because of how short the seasons are, it's more of a movie to me than a tv series..



Network-wise, I do enjoy Criminal Minds but since I've moved I don't catch it as often

Right now it's Boardwalk Empire...although this usually changes from year to year depending on the strength of the current season. I wouldn't have chosen Boardwalk Empire if you asked prior to this season.

Agree. Show started off slow. Season 2 gained some steam and season 3 was off the hook.

Lots of people watch it but lots of people watch American idol too.

Obviously something turned you off from the show and that was during season 1 (the best season so far).

Gonna have to add Sherlock to round out a top five. Although season 2 wasn't as good as season 1 it's such a fun show to watch because of how well the leads play off each other.

While I enjoy shows such as Duck Dynasty, Rocket City Rednecks, Ax Men, Pawn Stars, etc I don't get in a can't wait mode like I do with the five listed above. Plus I like something with a little more plot than the reality type shows.
