• If the Braves add an outfielder and move Martin Prado to third base, they could trade Juan Francisco.
• The Braves have interest in Emilio Bonifacio and have learned that he could be available.
• The Braves signed Reed Johnson to a one-year deal.
• Atlanta exercised their option on manager Fredi Gonzalez.

I would take Bonifacio over Dexter Fowler. Correct me if I'm wrong but he can play 3rd right?

Yes. Bonifacio is like Prado in that he is versatile on defense. He could also play CF. He has NO power though. I really wouldn't care though. I always liked Bonfiacio in Florida/Miami. He'd be a solid leadoff option. I wouldn't mind Bonifacio, Gordon, or Revere.

Edit: Didn't realize Revere was traded. And to Filly at that.

I wouldn't mind trading Teheran or Delgado for Bonifacio. Solid leadoff hitter and you can pretty much play him anywhere except for catcher and maybe first base on defense.

Well Victorino came off the board the other day and now Pagan has as well. Looking more and more like we are going to fill our hole with a trade of some sort this offseason.

Well Arizona just got a shortstop in a trade with Cleveland. That makes things really interesting. Because they don't need one from us in a trade anymore. So Delgado and Gilmartin for Justin Upton would awesome. Make it happen, Franky.

Or they may decide to keep him since they were able to fill their big need without giving him up.

I like your thinking. Some DBack insiders were saying the same thing on Twitter. Not specifically about the Braves, but just saying that acquiring Upton could be by other means besides a shortstop now. Get it done Frank!

Yes they are. And fast. The way Frank was talking today, he sounded more like he was leaning towards an internal option in a piece by the AJC. But Arizona has tried to trade Justin like 5 times. 3 of which were with Stephan Drew, a MLB productive SS, on their roster. But I'm like you. This is wishful thinking on my part. Just don't see why we can't pull it off now. Our options are getting slim and another one came off the board in Choo today. He was a .310 leadoff hitter last year and played left. But that door closing could lead to another opening.

Devils advocate, who is gonna give him that money? All the suitors have locked up their CF options. Media deal will give each team 20 million more next year, see if Liberty (sell the team damnit) would front a few million.

I wouldn't care who was in left and who was in center, that D would be insane.
