I went skeet shooting today. My Maverick 88 12GA that I got for my birthday last month was shot for the first time, and shot the Remington 11-48 Semi Auto 16GA was shot for the first time in 25 or more years. Didn't hit too many clays, but had a lot of fun.

Took a good doe Wednesday at SRS with the new Vinci. So far, that gun is 1 for 1.

Shot an 8 pt yesterday morning with my rem 270 short mag.

Got a taurus 9mm slim for graduation... im a history buff would really like to eventually own a m1 carbine with a folding stock and a thompson ... the other guns i have are all hunting guns .. remmington 270 and a 12 gauge

I got my NFA trust 4 years ago. I have an M2, M60, M16, AK47, M4, and a MP5. This Christmas Im hoping to buy a 45 cal sub machine gun. Seriously with aNFA trust,many guns can be bought cheaply. Get one before they are outlawed.

Just thought I'd jump in to this discussion. Been a lifelong gun owner with a few shotguns passed down from my grandfather. however, I've recently been debating handgun ownership and getting my CC permit. I bought a 40 cal SVE at the gun show in town a couple weeks ago. Have not shot it yet, but will do so soon. I have been doing some reading and found an interesting article. Thanks for keeping the thread going. Got the TC Drean Seasib Venture Camo in .308 Came as a package deal from dicks sporting goods with a cheap scope. They guarantee 1" groups at 100 yds and it's an all American made gun. Looking forward to getting this thing out soon and shooting. I may buy an X Bolt or a Savage this week in a varmint caliber. Not sure what cal, but probably lower than .243 for sure.

Didn't get any guns, but I did get a skeet launcher and some clay pigeons. Also got a gift card to a shooting range to cover a CWP class.

As for a handgun to carry, I'll probably use my Dads .38 SP until I can save up to buy my own hand gun. Maybe a .40 S&W or a .45 ACP.

I got an 1896 Mosin Nagant M1891 rifle with all the Imperial Romanov Markings intact, a 1942 dated Mosin Nagant cloth ammo bandolier, a guards crest Circa ~1943, a Soviet army belt late war enlisted, another 1942 Izhevsk Mosin Nagant 91/30, Six Mosin Nagant 91/30 stocks... yes I have a thing for Russian/Soviet weapons and militaria.
