So lets get this straight...you contend that every coach who has been let go over the past week or two and is currently unemployeed, is either not a good coach or "tainted". Logic, doesn't appear to be in your repertoire.

Spurrier has said on many occasions that reputations in coaching spread quickly. I don't see any way possible that SOS, knowing Trooper's reputation, would allow him anywhere near our program.

And he shouldn't. He's building the program the right way.

I mean, he brought in a ton of big time recruits during his time at Auburn...now he's unemployed. He didn't have an overly important position at AU (WR Coach), so it seems like we could find a spot for him somewhere on the staff. He seems to be recruiting gold, as far as I can tell.

I don't know much about him other than what I read on press releases about his departure from AU. So, I don't know if he carries any baggage, etc. It just seems like this guy has some talent when it comes to reeling in the recruits and someone is going to pick him up sooner than later, why shouldn't it be us? SEC football is an arms race, after all...I don't see anything wrong with adding Taylor to our arsenal.

He would fit in well over at Clemp with all his sideline cheerleading.
