Has Morris system ever beat a SEC team with a winning record? Just because Manziel would be running it, doesn't mean that suddenly it would work week in and week out in the SEC. I don't think Texas A&M will do as well as everyone thinks, next year.

We agree on something else! I think there's going to be a letdown. People have seen the system now. They'll still win (and contend), but they're not going to take anybody by surprise.

They're one of the richest schools in the country. Factor in that JFF may only be there one more year and, yeah, they would pay it.

Exactly. Manziel had a lot of success in big games during 1st half but teams adjusted to him and limited him in the second half. I see next year being similar to second half of game stats, since teams will have seen him and be more prepared for his on field speed. Sometimes on field speed doesn't translate on tape. Think 10 wins is a likely record.

I am sure they are doing well with Texas recruits and all but I am not buying long term success just yet. They need a better D to be successful for the long haul. Can't give up 50 points to La Tech.

It is sick. It's also oversigned (they currently have 33 committed. Which isn't supposed to happen anymore.)

Why would they even want Morris? That offense isn't that great. It's all smoke and mirrors for the most part. It doesn't work so well against a physical defense that has a decent secondary.

True. What's funny is that yesterday he said that it's a "clemson" offense and not a Morris offense. WTF? Why pay him so much if it's a clemson offense?
