It is the playoffs. I was thinking Garcon or Brown. Brown sucked last week, but blew up the two prior. Garcon may not have RG3 throwing to him, but he did catch a td from the backup last week...

Sorry, didn't see Brown on his list. But yes, I would start DMac over Garcon. According to an email I received from FantasyGuys this morning, DMac is good to play so I like him vs. the Chiefs. Between Brown and DMac, it is a toss up for me. If Brown didn't have a bad week last game, I would easily say him, but that week worries me a little.

I drafted Matt Forte, Darren McFadden, and Ryan Mathews with my first three picks. I later picked up Philip Rivers and Big Ben for my QBs. It has been a bad season for me too, missing the playoffs by one game.

Yeah, I usually don't play guys their first game back, and Amendola burnt me the other week, but if he plays the whole game, it's a no-brainer.

It's certainly plausible AP won't resemble his old dominating self until the second half of the season, which could be too late for his investors to salvage enough wins to sneak into the virtual playoffs. Only if he slips to Round 3 in 12-team drafts (Current ADP: 17.1, RB12) is he worth the dice roll. And that's unlikely to happen. For casual players, the brand name is simply too appealing despite the enhanced risks.
Savvy gamers already have the former All-Pro Sharpied on their do not draft list, a brainy move. The rusher's floor is lower than most think. Marshawn Lynch (13.5 ADP), Trent Richardson (13.9), DeMarco Murray (13.9) and Jamaal Charles (20.4) are more desirable options at a similar price point.
For those who want to prevent fantasy heartache, it's best to avoid Peterson like the plague.

After:

Adrian Peterson took a giant leap toward Eric Dickerson's rushing record Sunday, pounding the St. Louis Rams for 212 rushing yards, including an 82-yard touchdown.
The Minnesota Vikings running back now has 1,812 yards on the ground this season, topping his previous career high of 1,760. He is now just 294 yards away from the single-season rushing record.

Last week Peterson told Peter King of Sports Illustrated that he was eyeing the record of 2,105 yards set by Dickerson in 1984. At the time he needed 506 yards (169 yards per game). After today's outburst he will need to average 147 yards over the final two games to achieve his goal.

How good has he been of late? The sixth-year back out of Oklahoma has exactly as many rushing yards (1,313) in his last eight games as Houston Texans superstar running back Arian Foster has the entire season.

Shit, I guess I also cheer the comeback of AP because I want to see similar success with ML from his knee injury

My three leagues:
Team 1) Didn't make the playoffs because half my team kept getting injured. This is the league I won last year.
Team 2) Made the championship, but bad starts cost me this weekend (my bench scored more than my starters. This was the second year in a row I made the championship but lost due to a poor showing from my starters.
Team 3) Won in the semi-finals this weekend to make it to the championship. This league is the most competitive, and I am ecstatic about making the championship! I need to stay focused as the guy I am playing is pretty much the Alabama of the league; he wins a lot!

Thanks Doug Martin, my non-tradeable player....took a big shit this week and caused me to lose in the semi finals. Got a whopping 3 points against a projection of 21. oh well, finished second in the regular season and rode Martin all year like a rented mule.

You think you feel bad? I sat Russell Wilson and played Philip Rivers.

Rivers will never see my lineup again as long as I play fantasy football. Dude has pissed me off all season.
