Yep I'll always give props to both Dickerson and Straughter, because they didn't even go into 2010 as the projected starters for us, but due to the hamstring for Wilson and Paulk's ACL was slow to fully recover, they were needed to step up big time and they did.

Weren't all-conference or anything like that, but considering the circumstances we couldn't ask for more than what they gave....it could have been a LOT worse than what it was....

Hopefully we get some good news from this weekend's visit. This guy looks real athletic and would benefit from being an EE and getting involved with S&C and learning our defensive system. If we were to get him would we take Yannick as well?

I got this from his page. Grades are the issue but glad USC is placing him.

According to Roy Philpott - who we all know is a huge Tater - said that Durant was the best looking LB to come out of SC in a long long time. Physical, fast, and big is how he described him. He is a NFL guy.

Dickerson & Straughter were nice players, but Darrell Slay (5*) & Gilchrest (fb) were not SEC caliber LBs. Straughter, I believe, was the quick safety looking backer. Sanders, on film, looks like a bigger, more physical, & quicker version of him. Hope he likes his visit & is ready to play 8/31/13 bc he will certainly be on the field (as this is his last visit, we have a solid shot).

So this guy is visiting this weekend, but the rumor is he may announce on Wednesday. If he pushes his decision day back, I think that bodes very well for us. If he keeps Wednesday as a decision time, seems like he's going with OSU.

He's already been to Colombus, you should've asked for this last weekend :D

He announced that he would make his decision on Wednesday after visiting Ohio State. Logically, that probably means he's decided to go there. Otherwise there is no reason to set the date before visiting us. But if his visit here goes well, maybe he pushes that decision day back, or perhaps it goes so well we flip him at the end.
