We've done this before, but it's always good for a laugh.
Mine would be a gold chain necklace from my ex-wife. It was gaudy...plus I don't wear jewelry.

socks from grandma every year til i was 20...
seems the worst presents are from grandparents one time she wrapped a bird book she had in her house for 30 years and gave it to my brother for his birthday lol we still talk about it til this day....

My grandmother screwed up the names on presents and my girl 4 year old cousin got the TMNT game for nintendo and me at 9 got Bambi...Then she tried to play it off like she hadn't screwed up after my cousin started crying when everyone tried to swap the gifts.

Some members of my husband's side of the family are very vengeful and I happen to be their scapegoat. One of them gave me a pair of pants and two sweaters that were about 3 sizes too big for me. It wasn't a mistake, either. I sold them on Ebay.

I was once given a Clemson shirt by my douche nozzle aunt who is a Clemson fan. She thought it would be funny. I promptly dropped the shirt and stepped on it. She got all offended and said I was rude. I quickly replied with, "I'd rather get an STD than acknowledge that shit gift with anything other than what I did. We don't talk much anymore. I've never been happier.

I am just happy if I get a gift.
I figure someone was nice enough to think about me even if the gift is not my taste. It is interesting to see what people may think you are interested in. I have a huge Gamecocks coat that my dad bought me about 6 years ago that I have never worn. It is just way too guady but I love that he went out and actually got me a gift.
