The Woodward Academy star was arguably the second best receiver at the camp behind Robinson. “Googer is a big target at wide receiver, and he is really starting to settle in at that position,” Simmons said. “He made good adjustments on the ball, he caught some balls in traffic and he has a chance to pick up some major offers in the coming months.”

Googer (6-4, 200) primarily played quarterback as a sophomore, so receiver was a relatively new proposition for him entering the spring circuit. In each of the three appearances this writer has evaluated the 2014 prospect, Googer has improved his route-running and ball skills each time – a testament to his apparent ceiling at the position, in our estimation.

South Carolina and Mississippi State headline his first wave of early offers, but it sounds a formality for Georgia and Vanderbilt to offer in upcoming camps. And the Bulldogs likely hold the cards in this recruitment.

Not sure why you think that because we are in great shape with a few big time WRs including Googer. It is pretty realistic to say we end up with Davidson, Googer, and Berrios. Davidson and Googer are two very good WRs who can line up on the outside and have the skill set to abuse CBs in 1 on 1 coverage. Then you throw in Berrios and you have a prototypical slot WR with not only insane agility and acceleration but a vertical that allows him to play larger than his frame in jump ball situations. That is a big time group of WRs for next year. And last year 3 4* WRs including Mr. SC Football and a kid with unlimited upside in Smith. You are basing your statement off of this year only while ignoring all other facts obviously.

I really think the 2014 WR class will be the one Spurrier has been hoping for.
Googer looks promising...speedy Jaylen Barbour favors us, as does Braxton Berrios.
And 2014 Mr. Football Shaq Davidson out of Gaffney also favors us.

*Terry Googer, a four-star receiver from Atlanta's Woodward Academy, also hopes to trim his list of possible schools very soon. In fact, he said he might release a top five as soon as Tuesday. Look for Notre Dame, South Carolina and Vanderbilt to be on that list. "Notre Dame, my family wants me to go there because of academics," Googer said. "Vandy, I've just got a good relationship with the coaches. And South Carolina, I just like the atmosphere." According to Googer, Florida also might be a team to watch. The Gators haven't offered yet, but he thinks it is possible.

Georgia hasn't offered. UGA has extended very, very few 2014 offers as of right now.

According to TBS, last week we were in his top 3 (with Louisville and ND), he confirmed yesterday we lead.......4* WR......6'4" 215.

I literally just watched that video thinking...as a receiver listed for 6-4 he surely doesnt look that tall...or that great honestly. And i thought...DANG we should get that QB an offer!! Needless to say its been a long day

How does Googer compare to Kwinton with speed, quickness, athleticism and hands. I'm assuming they are both about the same size.
