C2, I agree, but I cannot figure out how we land him unless he decommitted from Maryland for the sole purpose of playing in Columbia. I don't like the fact he will announce before he takes his OV. Granted, Yannick has been in campus, but is that enough. When the staff was in the NE/Mid-Atlantic they were very quiet re in house visits or conversations they had w him. He is a quiet kid who might have asked them to remain quiet....no clue, the people I know aren't saying a word....have any info?

No one else appears to be in play. He is an EE, there is very little time left.

JUCO National Signing Day is this week and according to his interview on TBS, he will make his decision by Wednesday.

I personally think David Johnson could be the backup that no one is talking about in the middle. I don't see a lot of difference between he and Ngakoue. Don't get me wrong it would be nice to get Ngakoue but I believe Johnson brings just as much to the table as Ngakoue does. However competition is a good thing.

However, it does buy us time to get a solid 2014 LB class. Bryson Allen-Williams, Joe Blue, Dillon Bates, Christian Miller are all looking like possible Gamecocks. If we land them four plus Bryant, Sanders, Cooper, Holloman, and Lewis would be very deep and talented. Diggs, Golightly, and Camara at SPUR is quality SEC depth.

Juco Kid at a CC in Kansas.... LB that would have 2 years of eligibility... My reads on him, he seems to be a quality Backer.... Believe he is rated the #1 JUCO LB

I know I'm late here, but where did this guy come from? I follow recruiting, but I haven't heard much of anything on this guy until earlier this week.

Until last week, we looked to be almost full at linebacker and weren't looking hard at JUCO. We apparently went off the list to find some more immediate help, and this player looks to have some strong attributes.
