I have never in my life seen a pro game that had been so lopsided, then the other team makes a huge comeback. Pats scored 28 unanswered points to tie 31 each, then 49ers score a TD on 2 plays.

This is what happens when you let your foot off the gas. The 49ers switched up their offensive and defensive schemes after getting up 31-3 and paid for it.

What about that Colts vs Bucs MNF game from about 2004 or so?

Is it just me or does a lot of the NFL games this season seem like college games. Close games, high scoring. Tonight's game and the Dallas game earlier being a perfect example.

Definitely an offensive league. Defenses aren't allowed to hit anybody any more.

Agreed but that has been known for a while so I don't understand why teams get conservative against the Pats up big. When you get up big try to make it bigger. Its not like Bellicheck can complain with how many times he has run up the score on other teams.

I disagree. I think losing Justin Smith hurt the 49ers. They weren't able to get as much pressure on Brady and disrupt the offense. The DL got back on track late, got more pressure, sacked Brady, and stopped the Pats late.

Did you see where the Seahawks faked a punt while up a ton yesterday. Pete Carroll said he should have taken it off......NFL teams don't forget things like that....he's lucky that Wilson has turned out this good. Nobody saw that coming.

Glad my Niners were able to hold on, but man they played that one too close!

Maybe people didn't see him being this good but there were alot of front offices high on Russell Wilson and were hoping to capitalize on what they thought was an excellent value in the 3rd-4th round. Same with Cousins. If Wilson were 6'3 he would have been a 1st round pick based on his skill set and resume.

But you're right, if he was 6'3", he would have been a top 10 pick. |
