Kendric Salley
I believe this kid will be our sleeper for next season. He has been full go in practice for the bowl game and has made a big impression so far. Players are saying he has just been running over people.

What size is he? I saw a thread with athe pic over the summer and he looked huge but i saw a post the other day where they said he was listed at 5'9" 205. Is that accurate?

He is going to score alot of short yardage tds in his career. if he plays 4 yrs i think he will pass marcus. that guy is a load that will remind you of the redskins rb morris.

I saw him play in high school and he is a beast.If he would not have tore his acl he would have had over 100 career rushing tds he still had in the mid 90s

I worked with this kid for many years. He was a special player. I am interersted to see how well he recovers from the injury. It looks like he is on his way. He ran mainly out of the wishbone in high school, so he knows how to hit it up into the line of scrimmage. If Spurrier utilizes the strenghts of all his backs and not just lean on one guy, the USC run game could be pretty special over the next few years with Wilds, Carson, Davis, and Salley.

How has Salley been coming along with his progression and treatment after injury? Will he be able to play in the bowl game? Or at least practice with the team this spring? You don't hear much about him.

Yeah a lot of our Defensive guys Quarles and K Lewis were talking how physical and tough a runner Salley is. Pretty sure he is already close to 220 lbs.

He has been redshirting all year to recover from his ACL surgery, so this is the real first practice time that he has been getting. I don't see why he would play in the bowl game and waste the redshirt year unless he was really needed.

I dont think we should make assumptions or predict his weight bc a whole lot changes to a players weight after fall camp/practices. Theyre going to lose some weight.
Given that, he does have a great frame and he seems to be working very hard to get onto the field. Hope he does well. saw him play in HS and thought he would be a great addition to the backfield
