Aladdin and Sonic were the best thing about the Genesis. I got a PS1 after my Genesis went out...still wish i could find one in great condition

I was 16 and trying to get some poon. I did get the Genisis and SNES when I was 12 and 14. The Playstation was the first system I actually bought myself, but that wasn't until 1998. I still think the SNES was the bet system I've ever owned.

I still have a SNES. I had it hooked up and was playing it, but it got unhooked now. Might have to hook it back up over break and hit up Tecmo Super Bowl.

Two things.
I thought games didn't bump to $60 until the current gen. I think it's bullshit that Nintendo sold golden N64 controllers at Toys R Us. I got my through Nintendo Power magazine and it was supposed to be exclusive. Only different in mine and this one is a little badge. I remember waiting in line to play Mario at Toys R Us when N64 came out. It was pretty groundbreaking at the time. It blew my mind. I remember being in awe of my dad for buying it for me and my brother. It wasn't even a birthday or Christmas. He just bought it for us. We were and are lucky.

People forget this country had money in the 90's. The dollar has devalued since then. (At least this is my opinion.) And gas was 98 cents on a bad day!
