2013 football season

I know its way early but I can't help but look towards next year. I think we have a great chance to go all the way and I would like to see what yalls predictions are for next year. Go Cocks!

With the schedule we were given. The players leaving for Draft or Graduation on certain teams. If we ever had a year to go undefeated in the regular season. 2013 is the year.

So, 12-0 is my prediction.

The SEC is brutal, and going undefeated while being a member of it is EXTREMELY difficult.

I would think another 10-2 reg season is highly likely. We don't have a bonified difference maker at RB, or WR....yet. Our QBs, while stout, haven't shown championship caliber consistency for a full season...yet.

We have a wickedly competitive team lined up for 2013, a good schedule, and we look decent on paper, but I don't think we go undefeated.

2013 is our year to breakthrough to the BCS. This past year should have been and 2011. 2013 will finally come together.

I was looking at my gogamecocks magazine predictions beforee the season and they had us at 12-1. Texas A&M was suppose to have a guy named Showers as the starter at QB. Never know though.

But generally, I think we will keep building from what we have. I know we say this each year, but I legit mean this: we have the best shot and the SEC/BCS this year,

Too early to predict, but a lot of it depends on the linebacker play... If the young guys step up, then we can be very good... Florida will probably be our toughest game... UGA is losing a ton, but game is still in Athens...

Losses to UNC or miss St at home would be a huge disappointment.

Not NC....they have a lot of key contributors leaving (top offensive player, three starters on the offensive line, three key defensive players, placekicker). They could be pretty good by year's end, but they will be vulnerable in the season opener.

Just picking on you man, though I think there is no way we lose to either of them. Both are in Columbia too.

The UGA game is the one I'm most worried about, to be honest. From what I've heard though, they lose a lot this year, possibly even Aaron Murray if he decides to leave. I don't know if he will, but playing on the road, no Lattimore this year, he has been the GA killer. I am 50/50 on this game. If we win, the sky is the limit.

Some may call me a homer, don't really care, but I think we win all the home games next year. We were undefeated at home recently and it will happen again. So I think Florida will be a win.

Either way, I think we play for the SEC Championship and win. If we lose to GA, I think two other undefeated teams go to the NC game, while we go to the Sugar. If we win UGA, we play for the NC game.

11-1 loss to UGA, but win the east cause UGA goes 10-2 and Florida goes 11-1 but we win head to head

I heard Georgia is losing 9 on defense this year, and I know we haven't had the best QB play on the road, but maybe there is a way Shaw can work on that in the off-season lol (I have no idea how, here's hoping he finds a way). I think we'll beat Georgia in Athens again.

I see no trouble in beating UNC or Miss State, but Florida still worries me. I doubt their offense will do much against us in WB next year, I'm not sure how good their defense will be next year though.

I realistically and hopefully see us going 12-0, possibly playing A&M in Atlanta.
