Stub Hub vs SC website?
I know im being slack with this as the game is just 2 week away, but would it be better to get tickets from Stub Hub or gamecocksonline.com? You can get lower level with a better view on SH. Gamecocks Online has upper level, but im also supporting to school more by getting them from the school.
Nothing is official yet... trying to look at the different options. |

IMO, get them through the school. Yes you sacrifice location, but it makes the school's bottom line look better in the long run.

I really wish Bowls would sell good seats through the school. Or at least let you specify which school gets credit when you buy tickets somewhere else.
So many folks do not go through the school becasue they can get better seats elsewhere.

Looks like if you buy it from the school, "public" seating is in the 300s, which is the upper deck. Lower deck is for club members or something like that. You can get lower deck on SH. More expensive but you get what you pay for i guess.

I have bought from both. Stubhub mailed my tickets and GC online e-mailed me and said where I could pick my tickets up. I prefer them to be mailed to me.

I have used Stubhub many times. As I'm typing this though, Fedex has delivered my package of 4 tickets to some random office today!?!?! This is the second time that Fedex has done this to me with Stubhub tickets in a row! Not Stubhubs fault, obviously, but I saw "StubHub" in the title and thought that I would bitch a little :)

StubHub is not a bad way to go, but it's members are mainly ticket brokers, so their pricing is usually real high... I got mine through ticketmaster the Monday after we were announced

Wait until Friday and watch what ticket prices do...I'd guess you will find uppers for $30 or so.
They have been slowly dropping since Saturday.

Only buy stubhub if you can beat 50 bucks or so, or if you really really need lower bowl sideline seats and are willing to drop 100+. Otherwise buy from USC and ask what they have left.

I use StubHub all the time and was sponsored by them this year. They typically offer better seats for high profile teams and games. However, they are more expensive.
I always recommend going through the school first to see what you can find. If you can't find the seat you want for the price, check StubHub. It really is a location vs price decision.
