These images were created by ColaCock, and I think this is what the AD needs to adopt- IF they are going to change anything about the logo at all. Much cleaner. More badass. No controversy.

Personally, I like the white on black and the white on garnet versions.

Any of the ones without any white at all will never happen in a million years. Black in contrast to garnet is just not enough color difference to make a team look sharp on TV or from far in the stands. You would not be able to tell what it was at all. You at least need a white border outlining the image when it's black on garnet or vice versa.

What we have, the Block C, is very recognizable nationwide. I travel for work quite a bit, and I have a large Block C, key chain attached to my suitcase. I get South Carolina or Gamecock comments almost every day I travel. Just last week had someone say "way to go for whoopin up on those Clemson Tigers again." We don't need to change a thing.

This might be BS, but I heard somewhere that Spurrier likes the white helmets because they're easier for the QB to spot on pass routes. Now that I think of it most of our oppenents do wear colored helmets (Fla- Orange, Ga-Red, Clem-Orange, Vandy-Gold, Missouri-Blue). Kentucky and Tennessee wear white but the blue and orange stripes stand out.
Personally, I'd like to see flat black helmets like Oklahoma State wears sometimes.

We did a flat black helmet twice this year, and I didn't much care for them:



And since we share the same misfortune of having Under Armors design dept making our jerseys (except we're crimson and not garnet) you could get a rough idea.
