Not sure why size matters for a guy like DJ? The guy hits harder than anyone in the SEC. I guess the only drawback would be not being able to cover the 6'4" guys downfield but that's the only reason anyone should complain about his size.

This is exactly right. It's hard for a 5'10" safety trying to cover a 6'5" TE. Another thing is that he freelances a bit too much and gets caught out of position sometimes. Look, I really like him because he will flat out light you up and if you are running some of those short crossing routes, you better know where he is at all times.

Most mock drafts i've seen have had him in the 3rd round at best, and 6th round at worst. I know some question his speed, but wasn't he on the depth chart as a kick returner a couple of years ago?

Kiper knowig his stuff is highly debateable.

If Mel said that DJ needs to be faster to compete to a higher draft spot I can live with that but if he is calling him undersized then I have an issue.

Look at NFL rosters, there are plenty of S listed in the 5'11" 205-210 range.

Kiper gives more hype to players who are represented by agents that he's cozy with. He also "talks down" players who are represented by agents who think Kiper is full of it.

DJ will be a third or fourth round bargain for someone. I'm hoping for either the Steelers or Packers.

I hate to say it because I love him as a player, I doubt he'll get drafted at all. The NFL has become less and less about what you have actually done and more about what potential you have. As such, even though he is proven to play multiple positions in the SEC they will take a guy a few inches taller and .1 seconds faster these days. I hope I am wrong, only takes one team to fall in love with him to get it to happen.

As far as people saying he could be a Special Teams monster, they are virtually eliminating kickoffs now, so that what would have been a good spot for him is even less so. Sadly, I think its changing the game too much.

It's a QB league, Barkley will be a first round pick.
He was last year, this year could have been first overall but now he'll probably go Mid First.
