I genuinely had no expectations going into this season except to play hard and improve from start to finish. Rome wasn't built in a day and all that jazz. I hope Franks schedules games in NYC every season. Some Manhattan fan behind me said something to me about us starting the Civil War and I was like, "I'm from New Jersey".

Yep, that's why it's good for a whopping 217 in the RPI, with a SOS of 328 (out of 347).

Horn left us in a hole. We are digging out of it, but it's gonna take some good recruiting and another year or two. The coaching is in place, at least that part is covered. If Page is truly gone, it will be a longer year than expected.

Hats off to the other team, they played pretty good.

Oh yeah, I don't blame us for having the easy schedule this year, given what Martin had to work with. Plus, I think Milwaukee and Manhattan, and possibly Missouri St were projected to be a little better than this. I'd just like to see the team get rewarded if they manage to go .500 for the year, but with the SOS being what it is, I honestly think it'd take 19-20 wins just to get into the NIT. Auburn, UGA, and Miss St are actually below us in the RPI, and Vandy is just above us. Not sure the SEC schedule is going to give us the SOS boost that you'd expect.

@chaos: I expect us to have 10 wins at the start of SEC play. There are some bad teams in the sec this year. The question is, "Are they worse than us?" I don't mean that as a slam, but we obviously lack in talent and the loss of Gill and Harris has taken it's toll on production. I'm hoping Bruce comes back after the bowl and takes control of the point. There's still time for this team to improve and make some noise down the stretch.
