You don't seem to understand how things work. You ALWAYS "endorse" who you have, that doesn't mean you stop working behind the scenes to get something better.

And I will give Tebow credit for the one game against Pittsburgh. The play calling was phenomenal in that one. But what other games and I supposed to be impressed by? The comeback OT win against winless Miami who was still trying to lose because they still thought they had a chance to get Andrew Luck at the time? 17-10 over the Chiefs when threw for 69 yards? 17-13 over the Jets when he threw for 104 and ran for 68, another defensive win for the Broncos? 13-10 over Chicago with Caleb Hanie at QB? Okay so he is better than Caleb Hanie, I'll give you that. Minnesota? Oakland? San Diego? wow what a guantlet. Not to mention they got creamed by Detroit and Buffalo and lost to KC 7-3 at the end. It seems to me if the defense doesn't show up for Tebow then their only shot is if the other's team defense also stinks it up. They had one fluke win in OT, at home in the playoffs against a banged up Steelers team that happened to have a better record. Other then that Tebow didn't do all that much last year.

Last season was fools gold for Tebow fans. NFL coaches and GMs recognize it, the only ones who don't are Tebowians.

First round draft pick at QB who blocks on the punting team?

I think his refusing to do the wildcat is his attempt to salvage his career.
The wildcat is a fad that has passed, and he knows to have a chance at all
that he has to play a normal qb position.

This does has some level of self-interest which is far different than being selfish.

When your boss tells you do your job and you say NO, that is selfish, not just self-interest. Everyone else is expected to do their job whether they like it or not, why shouldn't he? He made a smart yet selfish choice, and he doesn't get wash his hands of selfish part by shifting blame.

I dont think He "put himself before the team". I sat here all morning and listened to Meril Hodge rip Tebow apart because he was jealous. Time Tebow was brought in by the Jets, and told that he was going to get 20 snaps a game, as an actual quarterback by Rex Ryan. That was his first mistake was listening to Rex Ryan, who is an absolute jackass.

Tebow isnt the best QB in the league, probably not in the top 15 or 20, but the guy is a winner. Hell he took the Broncos to a division championship last year and they were not very good. he's winner. I refuse to believe that if he was THAT BAD he would have been drafted as a QB, he would have been brought in as a free agent.

A guy that puts himself before the team doesnt get drafted as a QB and then take the up-back position on punt. He got lied to, the Jets (Who are all about media hype) brought him in as a publicity stunt. The team is losing, tebow has played second fiddle to a terrible quarterback all season, and then you skip over him? Id be pissed as well.

The biggest problem is that Rex Ryan and the entire Jets organization is full of dirtbags.

Tim Tebow's job shouldnt be as an Up-back on a freakin punt team. And he did his job, but if your boss screws you over, then you eventually have to say something, especially if you've done everything he has asked up until that breaking point. Rex Ryan is a POS.

I'm no Tebow lover or hater, but Tebow has been treated unfairly in these last 2 years. Elway could not stand Tebow while he was at Denver. The Broncos could have gone undefeated and Elway still would have wanted to get rid of Tebow. As for the Jets, that coaching staff has been stubborn in the second half of the season. Tebow deserves a chance to start a game but they haven't given him the chance...probably because the New York media would say that the Jets listened to the public and gave in.

Tebow is not an All Pro QB, but he's still young. With some more experience he can get better. Those of you saying he's a self-centered hypocrite need to quit hating on him just because he destroyed us while he was at Florida. I'd be pissed too if I was a backup QB and was denied a start, especially for a guy who publicly criticized the Jets organization last year (Greg McElroy).

Eh I disagree when his employer is one of the few people to give him a job in the NFL. Tebow should be thankful for every snap in the NFL because they will be limited.

Image if Cam Newton had told RR no, can you image the shitstorm that will follow that crap? Tebow is a mediocre QB with crappy mechanics and even crappier accuracy. Maybe he should pray harder to be as good as Brady Quinn, because all that praying isn't getting him more playing time.
