Everytime I've seen an interview with him, the person conducting the interview has always pronounced the name luh-RENZ

Could play any LB position including Spur. What will be the decision maker will be how much weight he gains. We cross train LB's so he could play any of the three.

If is going to be a Sam or Will he definitely will need to get stronger. He got swallowed up and pushed around a good bit on running plays in the Shrine Bowl from what I saw. I still like his speed and athleticism though. At this point his skill set looks best suited for a Spur or SS to me.

We must have watched two different game as I never saw him get pushed around at the Shrine Bowl. As a matter of fact he was one of their better defensive players and was usually the one making tackles for the North team.

Maybe he had a better first half I didn't get to see it. One play I definitely remember was on a second half SC touchdown run and got completely eaten up. I didn't see him make any tackles. Gerald Turner did. Boulware the Clemson commit looked great unfortunately, and that NC DE LSU commit looked like beast though he did get some personal fouls.

How big was Pollack and didn't he play on the outside.

Pretty certain Pollack was a DE if I remember correctly. Think when he was juiced he was in the 260 range. Bryant is expected to play in the 225 range this year. He is around 210 now.

Yes he was and he was also damn good on Special Teams.

Yes, Pollack was a DE and played in the 260-270 range. Was drafted by Cinci as a pass rusher at OLB until he broke his neck.

Now he focuses on pretty much straight cardio and is very thin.

Yeah, I noticed it to. He is an excellent pass defender and I think he will be a huge threat in the pass rush.

Damn, I had no idea he was 260. He looks like he weighs 180 now.
