If we beat Michigan we will be ranked higher than that. Maybe 7 or 8.

These things always seem to depend too heavily on the season that is past, or in this case, almost past. Georgia is losing a lot on the defensive side, and I could certainly see a situation where the Cocks are 9-0 and the Gators are 9-0 going to the showdown in Columbia. At 9-0, both of us will be in the top 5 of the country, and possibly the top 3. Hard to see how we are not 11-1 or 12-0, and how does that make us #10 in the country??

Our schedule sets up nicely next year. Only two games will we not be favored - at UGA and home against UF. Toughest stretch is on the road at Ark, at UT, at Missouri. Have to like our chances next year.

If you click on our team in that poll, it will give you a break down of our depth chart and notes for next year. LB concerns me but everywhere else we should be fine.

Georgia loses 9 and possibly 11 players with playing time on defense and they talk about how good they are. We have just as much depth everywhere except LB and they forget us. And somehow they forgot about Brandon Wilds. Seem like these guys were just reading the AP reports and making predictions off of them.

LOL! One of the first things I saw was Louisiana State at #3. "Who is Louisiana State, and why are they #3.....oh, nevermind. " Rarely see them not referred to as LSU.

No it won't. They aren't going to bump our preseason ranking because of incoming freshmen and also not many of the current class are going to be needed anyway with the exception of possibly the linebackers.

As far as the #10 ranking, I think its a tad bit too high.

With that high of a ranking and our schedule we will be in striking distance of a BCS if not MNC game. After we beat uglay we will bump up to around 8. Then we'll hover in the mid top 10 until we play an undefeated florida team for the SECe. They'll probably be #2 or #3 at that time. After we beat them at Williams Brice, we'll move up to #2 and undefeated going into the SECCG against bama. If we win, we are in the MNC. If we lose, but keep it close, we are automatically in a BCS game, but may play in the MNC if the cards fall right in other conferences' games.
