Cam Newton right sits at 3621 yards passing on the season. With only 154 yards passing against the Raiders, his chances at eclipsing 4k for the second year and a row diminished a good bit. Of course it's a meaningless stat, but it's a good benchmark at least. Against the Taints, Cam will need 379 yards passing to hit 4,000 on the season.

Cam's TD:INT ratio is currently 19:11. Last year he finished with 21:17. Barring unparalleled disaster against the Taints, Cam, needing only two more touchdowns to tie last year's total, will likely finish at 21:11 or 21:12, a significant improvement from last year. His touchdowns have gone up and his interceptions have gone down, and he'll likely finish with 10-20 less pass attempts than last year, which only makes it more impressive. Cam needs 2 passing touchdowns to tie last season's mark, and 3 to break it.

Last season Cam ran for 706 yards and 14 scores, and NFL record. He's only got eight rushing touchdowns on the season thus far, but as of yesterday he's run for 707 yards, beating last year's mark by one yard. If he can put up 87 yards against the Taints he'll end this season with a two-year total of 1,500 yards rushing. At this pace he's two years removed from entering 10th place on the NFL's all-time rushing QB recordbook.

Cam is currently 198 on the all-time passing leaders list. With a 350 yard game against the Taints, Cam can move to 195 all-time on the passing list, surpassing Steve Walsh. 1 more TD and Cam becomes just the fourth QB to throw for 20 TD's in each of his first two seasons. The other three are P Manning, D Marino and Ginger Dalton.

Ya this makes no sense to me.. and how do we not have 1 representative from the team? Steve Smith, Greg Olsen, Luke Kuechly? None of those guys? I thought all teams got at least 1 guy to represent them?

I assume we'll have several alternates. But Luke not being on the first team is ridiculous.

out of those FAs, i think only Captain and Murphy are the guys we will try to sign.....and the only one i think is worth looking at would be Captain

i could see us giving something to Anderson b/c it has sounded like he has been a big influence on Cam

I would drop almost every one of those guys, with exception to Munnerlyn and Anderson. I might drop Anderson though if I can't affordably drop Clausen.

The Pro Bowl is a popularity contest, and the Panthers aren't very sexy. I'm not surprised that we have nobody in the Pro Bowl.

Furthermore, i think the Panther need to trade Stewart or Williams, for the most dominant WR they can get. Also, we need to clean up the DL and get some better DT's. Hardy has been playing better, but he's looked not good for 1 and a 1/2 seasons before that. The defensive secondary also needs to be fixed.

If you trade anyone trade D-Will, I hate to see Double Trouble getting split up. Stewart is younger and doesn't have the miles D-Will has.

Look at the cheap shots Cam took and the flag on Cam was bullshit that was blatant roughing the passer in front of the ref and no flag.

Stewart can't stay healthy. At least Williams is consistent.

thats how i feel....plus tolbert can easily replace stewart as the bigger back

stewart also has a much more appealing contract, only 6 mil signing bonus while dwills 21 mil bonus would cripple us

I'm 99% sure Williams is gone after this season. His contract is just way too big for the Cats to keep him.

I was at the game at that no-call where Cam got a penalty for yelling at the ref was complete bull. The refs were putrid that day.
