Old update .. since this, he has been offered by USC. Per TBS & GCC.

DB Darin Smalls of Summerville picked up his second offer this week, and it was from Virginia Tech. USC was his first offer and he continues to favor the Gamecocks. He visited USC for their first bowl practice last Saturday. Smalls also is drawing the interest of Clemson, Georgia Tech and Notre Dame. This season Smalls had 58 tackles and 5 interceptions.

And he still has USC as his favorite haha. Dabos tactics are failing. Im sure he finds out some of these kids birthdays as well and offers them on their birthday.

It is a Clemson thing to do (make an offer on Christmas).

Clemson couldn't make a splash with him by claiming "we are your first offer" so they waited until Christmas to give him the news.

Offering on Christmas Day is just tacky.....and why isn't that a violation during the dead period.....no contact from coaches allowed.

Good thing he is a terrible coach bc they can recruit. Tacky or not, offering on Christmas day is pretty darn smart. Family is pretty important to most of us & there isn't a day when you are around more family members. Having said that, from an Xs & Os standpoint, Dabo & Vulnerables can't coach.

I don't think that applies to regular mail sent via post office.
