Please tell me where these wings are. I've lived here for a little over a year now and can't find a decent wing joint in town. Luke's Sports Bar is about the closest thing I've found that could be called a good wing. I know a lot of people love Wing King...but I just don't see it. All of their wings taste the same...really a weird thing. The upside to the place is that can occassinally run into Jadaveon in there over the summer.

Edit: And yes, I just posted for the first time on Cocky Talk for this. Lurk daily, though. Didn't realize until now how seriously I take my wings, I guess.

I love going to a place on Oakland Ave, near Winthrop University called "Wing Bonz". It use to be called "The Wing King", but somebody else claimed that name too and one of the owners told me that it would cost him more to fight the lawsuit than they had so he just changed the name. They have I think 3 locations, the one on Oakland Ave, another one in York, SC and I think that they have one in Fort Mill???? I have always heard from the local people that the one on Oakland Ave is the best one and that's where JD Clowney likes to go and eat wings when he is home in Rock Hill!

They have large wings that come in about 23 different flavors, cheese fries, fried pickles, and much more. The prices are very reasonable, but the taste, quality, and the size of the wings is what I like the best and I have eaten wings from the Florida State Line, in Atlanta, GA, Augusta, GA, Columbia, SC, and many, many, other towns and cities and I have got to say that Wing Bonz or the old Wing King is my favorite place.

Be wary of that Wing King in York... last time I went there between games... the cockroaches had their own landing strip!

Big - I love Columbia, but probably because I don't live there, and probably wouldn't like it as much if I did live there.
Medium-can't use Aiken, since I live there, so let's go with Beaufort, and show some love for the lowcountry.
Small-Walhalla-I always thought this was a neat town, especially in the fall, on the way to the mountains.

Town I hate the most-Barnwell...it's all about who you know. there, and THAT is the topic of all conversation.

Coolest named town - North.

Stupidest named town - Saluda. It's not even on the Saluda River? It's like, "Whoops! We screwed up. Better name this 'Little Saluda River' so we don't get egg on our face."

Small town: Well, I do like the town I live in (Chapin)... its a mix of transplants and locals... but its a good mix

There is a small town that I had to live in for 6 LONG EFFING YEARS... I HATED EVERY DAMN MINUTE OF IT! Just so I do not piss anyone off that lives there currently, I will not name the place... but it was AWFUL... Here are some of the characteristics of this hellhole:

(A) Racism there is awful
(B) If you were not born&raised there... you are not accepted...
(C) The "church goers".. they would be the ones drunk off their collective asses on a Saturday Night, starting fights in the 1 bar there..
(D) People there know your business(and start rumors about you)... when you confront them about it, they cower like little bitches..

Well I have family in Florence and that's where my mother is from. I've experienced it more than Rock Hill. The only thing I really "like" about Rock Hill is its proximity to Charlotte. Like I said I haven't spent enough time there to really compile a big list of likes. haha

I like Rock Hill alot. Have been to Colombia but havent seen enough to say if i like it or not. Going to Charleston in March for a friends wedding. From what i hear we have a beach house rented and it should be fun.
