The Gamecock became our mascot in 1903. In 1913 they started bringing a turkey to games as their unofficial mascot. I don't mind the helmets, actually think they're among the best of VTs I have seen.

But with the way Rutgers is playing in this quarter, I think it will end up being a moot point. I can't think of a bigger choke job than this.

Well, the ACC can thank a choke job for one of their bowl wins. And because it's HIGHLY unlikely NIU pulls off the upset over FSU, the ACC can also thank an extremely screwed up system for another win, and a slight bump in their BCS win percentage.
