I wrote this post the day before the article I read about NgaKoue on TBS. Before his interview, he said he was announcing at the All Star game before his visit with us. That has changed now. He isn't announcing until after all 3 of his visits.

Yes, the likelihood of Ngakoue is low. We have never been listed as his favorite and we are competing against his home state team with numerous friends on the team. They are also moving to the big 10 and are pitching a better football emphasis to sell him on.

All that said, we do have a chance. Should we land him it will be pleasant surprise, should we not it should not be a disappointment.

He liked being recruited more than he liked being committed. We weren't sold on him as a LB, also. Basically, he needed his ego constantly stroked, but told our coaches every time they talked to him, which was at least once a week, that everything was great, and he was 100% committed.
