I think Jasper Brinkley and Cory Boyd brought some toughness to the field that I had never seen before in a Gamecock uniform...The Lindsey Twins too for that matter! That group helped us believe that we were tough enough to compete in the SEC week in/week out!

Another guy I liked a lot that won't get mentioned much was Ko Simpson. He is right up there with DJ as my favorite he would have had a good NFL career to had it not been for injuries.

Bobby was part of the Purple People Eaters Vikings defense. A little bit undersized (nickname was Bones) but he played like a giant.

Taneyhill. I was 6 the first season he played, and I was starting to grasp the game, and watching him play really sealed the deal for me to be a lifelong gamecock. On another note I thought Garcia was going to be the second coming of Taneyhill...may have been a little wrong on that one.
