![]() Offense-Defense report, from Rivals:
One player starting to see his stock rise is Goose Creek (S.C.) defensive end Jalen Stevens. Recently the standout hybrid linebacker/DE has seen both South Carolina and Clemson enter the picture. He does have official visits scheduled to Arizona State (Jan. 25) and Appalachian State (Jan. 18). http://scvarsity.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1453304 Jalen had an exceptional senior season, leading Goose Creek with 157 tackles in 2012. He was voted SCVarsity MVP by Jim Baxter for his effort in the North-South All-Star game, as well as HSSR Defensive Player of the Year in Class AAAA DII. Currently has Arizona St, UConn and AppSt on top of his list. Ellis Johnson offered him while HC at SoMiss, hearing he is interested in Jalen for Auburn and requested he visits. |

![]() My take on the class: for the last few years, the kids we all considered good but not our top recruits (Wilds, Dylan, JT, Legree, Rory...can't list them all bc I would end up writing a 3 page memo) developed into or were instant impact players. This class has the top tier talent & a ton of very underrated kids UGA & the rest of the country will wish they recruited. So, in 4 years we will all look back & say-great class. I won't go into the skill set of each 3* commitment & who they may compare to in the future, but one example of the potential in this class- David Johnson who has a motor that does not stop & extreme athleticism. He could bc the next.Ingram.
Watch Ali Groves film & tell me who he reminds you of. I won't touch the OL guys bc projecting an OL's future is an absolute crap shoot. Top to bottom, provided we get at least 1 more LB....Superb class.

![]() DB Mackensie Alexander of Immokalee, FL said in his US Army Game arrival interview that Rutgers is his current favorite. "I would say Rutgers has an edge on everybody right now," Alexander told Rivals.com. "Clemson, I'd say they have an edge but with the new move (Harbison out, Reed in), it kind of made it steady. But the schools I named, they are all in the mix." Those schools would be Rutgers, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Auburn and Mississippi State along with Clemson and Texas A&M, the two schools he has visited. Alexander was once committed to Tennessee, and in late September he named Notre Dame as his favorite. A factor in his decision, said Alexander, is his desire to play in college with his brother Mackenro, a linebacker. They are fraternal twins born three minutes apart. Mackensie said Clemson, Rutgers, Tennessee and Auburn have told him they will take both. Alexander said he will take three more official visits in January and will probably make his decision on Signing Day.

![]() WR Demarcus Robinson of Ft. Valley, GA arrived at the Army All American Game in San Antonio Sunday and had a bombshell for Clemson fans. Robinson said in a video interview with Rivals.com he's no longer committed to Clemson. In fact, he said he's now open between the Tigers and Florida and will make a decision this week and announce it during Friday's game. Robinson was sporting a Florida toboggan in the interview. "It's 50-50, I don't really know," Robinson said when asked if he had a favorite. Robinson committed to Clemson last July but decommitted December 12th. He then committed to Florida only to switch to Clemson December 17th following an official visit to Florida. Robinson plans to enroll early at the school he finally settles on.

![]() I wish Clemson and Florida would both tell the kid to take a hike. That's pretty immature to act like that, changing your mind every other day.

![]() Supposedly Robinson reaffirmed his commitment to Auburn three weeks ago. However, this would be a super get if USC can pull it off. The last visit it looks like...
