Bucs winning today help us in different areas....slightly better pick and with the way NFL comes up with schedules we should have a slightly easier schedule

This team has the potential to be really good next year. Cam improved down the stretch. Might look a lot different as well. Don't we have some chipping away to do on the salary?

Reportedly we are 15 million over the cap for next season, so we need a lot of restructuring, cuts, and anything else we can use to cut the salary cap.

I think both D-Will and J-Stew will restructure their contracts so maybe one might get traded I have been saying D-Will should be traded but Stew has not stayed healthy so maybe he should get traded. Tolbert will be a cheaper replacement for either one.

I hope Williams will be willing to restructure and stay with the Panthers. But his trade value is probably soaring after yesterday.

I think Olsen still has two more seasons, he should get an extension and move the money back to final years of the contract.

Rams, Jets, Bills are home games. Dolphins, Cardinals are road games. Pats, Seattle, Giants are home games. Minnesota, San Fran are road games. Saints twice, Falcons twice, and Bucs twice. Pretty rough schedule.

Have to go up against Brady, All Day, Eli, Seattle and San Fran's defense. Then Martin, Brees, and Ryan inside the division twice.

It'll be interesting to see the impact Payton's return will have on NOLA.

the way i see the season shaping out if it started today...
Rams-WIN, Jets-WIN, Bills-WIN, Dolphins-WIN, Cards-WIN, Pats-LOSS, Seattle-WIN, NYG-LOSS, Minnesota-WIN, San Fran-LOSS, Saints-1and1, Falcons-1and1, and a sweep of the Bucs. So im predicting an 11-5 record for next season, which would be huge I think. Cams improved drastically lately, our big 3 in the run spots are getting insanely good thanks to D-will and Big Mike, and our D is 8th in the league. Dismissing what could happen in the offseason, we're looking mighty fine for next year...

It'll be interesting to see what they do in the offseason with the salary cap concerns. I don't know if they'll have much room for significant upgrades in problem areas.

Rivera said today he doesn't know if he'll be back or not. He's waiting on a meeting with Richardson, that should come by Wednesday.

Kinda crappy of JR to keep his coach in the dark like that IMO.

I'm really not sure what this indicates as far as the GM goes. You would think that he would let the GM decide unless Jerry's adamant that he gets fired, so if his fate is decided Wednesday that could indicate Beane will indeed be our guy. Even if we had our eyes on other candidates, today would have been the first we could have contacted some of them, and I seriously doubt Richardson moved that fast in bringing in someone outside the organization.

Unless of course Richardson is just going to be a dick and give his new GM no say on Rivera.

If Big Cat is waiting to make a decision he better go hire a GM, because it will piss me off if RR gets fired at some point of the off season and all of the good HC candidates are gone.

Very frustrating year. Now that we have Tolbert, Panthers have to trade Stewart or Williams. I like them both but one has to go....

I'd prefer Williams bc he's better big play ability

Hopefully we will get rid of Rivera so we can get one of the good coaches on the market. I am really optimistic about next year, we have talent, but Rivera can't coach/motivate a team to finish games. We even saw that yesterday, with one more possession, Drew Brees would have finished us off.

Please, Jerry Richardson, Please do whats right and get a coach who will win a Superbowl.
