Any Chance Ace Will Stay?

He obviously is NFL material and would be successful at wide receiver as well as punt returns.

Is there any indication that he might decide to stay one more year?

Would there be any value to him becoming our true feature receiver and going for big aggregate yards in more of a pass-happy attack in 2013?

So far, he has been spectacular in spurts, but could do even more as we make him a consistent target (and now that the pass blocking is coming together).

Both Connor and Dylan are getting to the point where they love to find him in the open. This wasn't the case earlier in the year, so his total yards aren't nearly what they could be this coming year.

Anyway, I wish him nothing but the best but hope that we might be blessed with one more season now that the entire NATION knows how special he is.

As far as I have heard and read, he plans on staying here for his senior year.

Yea, I have heard nothing about him leaving and think he probably would be a late round pick at this point. He needs another year as a productive wide receiver before he goes to help his draft stock.

He's too short to leave as a junior and doesn't have the receiver numbers. Would be foolish for him to leave.

I would be more surprised if he left than if he stayed. I know he had that great punt return at UGA. It was almost like there was no one else there.

he should stay.... he is a smaller guy. i remember when Roscoe Parrish of Miami Hurricanes came out. Almost the exact same size but Roscoe had wayyyyy better numbers/was on Miami and he still didnt get drafted til the late 2nd

Too much blank space at the bottom for nothing to be there..

Haven't seen any indications that he'll leave. Certainly could, but right now there's no smoke. Another year of the same returning prowess and further improvement as a receiver would benefit his stock, could work his way into the second round after next year. This is also a very deep receiving class, giving further reason to stay.

Pay sites say there is a decent chance according to some people around Ace. His draft stock might not get much higher than it is now.

TBS says people around him and others are saying he is really thinking about going pro.

It would be a very bad decision. He is small and smaller receivers do not make much of an impact in the league. Hes obviously not going to grow from now until next season but if he stayed and put up more numbers then his draft status could improve.

Sure would hate to see him leave and then not make an NFL roster. Just seems sad that next football season Ace could be out job hunting.
WR is a very tough position to make the team in the NFL...hope he gives it one more year to improve his chances.

With our qb situation improving by the minute and the progress our first year ST's coach has made, I think it would be wise for Ace to come back.
