Cam hardly had a slump this year this total yards are down but his passer rating went up Passing TDs up and INTs went down. I call that progress

The Panthers have requested to interview the Giants' Marc Ross and Dave Gettleman. Looks like its no lock for Beane after all (not saying he still won't get hired).

As crazy as it sounds I hope we do have a terrible season next year just so we can get Clowney. I would hate to see Clowney go to some crappy team like Oakland or Cleveland. Carolina would be a better fit for Clowney anyways. It's closer to home.

If the Panthers have a bad season next year Rivera will be out. I dont think that would be good. To suck for one player isnt the best idea when the defensive line isnt a weak spot to begin with.

Seriously guys, there are some great coaches out there right now. We need to take this advantage of the opportunity to hire someone who will motivate their players to win games. Rivera isn't delivering! We blew how many games in the fourth quarter? And the final games against the Saints and Falcons were almost blown. I blame this on coaching staff not motivating players properly.

Did anyone else watch Riveras press conference after the New Orleans game? I watched about 2 minutes of him reading off of a piece of paper and had to quit watching. Good coaches can speak to the press without a script.

Again, he needs to go. We will never win a Super Bowl with him, but there are some coaches out there that we shouldn't be passing on, guys who win games and make it deep into the playoffs.

Hardy's contract runs out the same year JD comes out

and with the financial disarray that we are in now who knows if we will be able to resign him.....we overpayed for CJ, he is gonna make 16 mil his final year, gezz....hes good but he isnt that good

We took a look at the New Orleans Saints’ salary-cap situation. It’s far from ideal, but at least the Saints have some obvious ways to free up cap space.

But I’m now looking at the numbers for the Carolina Panthers, and it sure looks like they’re in a much worse situation than the Saints. There simply aren’t a lot of easy escape routes for the Panthers.

Interesting article talks about potential salary cap casualties for this upcoming offseason.

It says that Chris Gamble will probably be the most logical cut even though he is our best CB.

i think we should cut Gamble....his production doesnt match his contract....plus the guys we had in there at the end didnt look too bad, and maybe we can draft a CB

Of course they will wait and fire Rivera after all of the good coaching candidates have been hired. Andy Reid has been hired, and Lovie Smith is interviewing for the job in buffalo. Seeing all of this, I have to wonder if Richardson even cares about having a winning team any more.

The Panthers have a lot more problems than winning 5 of the past 6 games eludes too.

We need to get the GM situation locked up with a high quality guy.

We need to get the RB situation worked out, we're paying too much for what we're getting.

Lafell is starting to come around at WR, but Smith is on a short time frame and the other guys are questionable contributors.

The DE's are decent (for at least the 2nd half of this season), but we overpayed CJ and Hardy has 1 year left on his contract.

Don't even get me started about the DT's. I hope we use out 1st pick to get the best one we can.

At LB we are solid, but actually heavier than what we need. It's time to prune. Do we keep Beason, Davis and Kuchley, or do we open up some trades?

DB's, we need a shut down CB and better play from the Safeties.

Our kicking game is below the NFL average on almost everything, we can probably get a better returner from the draft. I haven't been impressed with either kicker/punter.
