Best Bowl?
Anyone else think that this was the best bowl in South Carolina history?
It showed how far we have come and how we have overcome adversity. Also shows how we never gave up and came back. And the most EXCITING!!! It will definitely go down as a South Carolina classic. Heck, even an Outback Bowl classic. |

To me it was, and to cap it all off to score the winning TD drive with 11 secs to go with a pass from your Backup QB was amazing.
Any other Gamecocks Team would have just let the clock run out, but not this team. This ain't your daddy's Gamecocks. We have arrived boys. |

As a 30 year Gamecock fan I have watched us lose games like this numerous times, several in the '99 season of 0-11. This victory shows our mental toughness has risen with our physical talents. Kudos to coach Spurrier and his staff as well as all the players, walk on and scholly alike.

The two Outback bowl wins against Ohio State were pretty special, because our only other bowl win, up until that point, was against WVU, in the Carquest Bowl...but, yesterday, we beat a great team, whose only losses were to Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Alabama, who had a combined 1 loss between them. Yesterday just proves how great of a team we have. 22 wins in two years? We're just lucky to be living in the golden years.
