our kicking was fine through the year. yesterday specifically was a bad day but not bad enough for me to think we need a new kicker..now, punting is a different story.

I don't remember exactly what game it was, but we suddenly went from kickoffs to the 10 to kickoffs for touchbacks. That was a great improvement that we've needed for a long time.

For those of you that think we're in good shape in the punting department, check the stats...Dead last in the SEC in average. And yeah, we didn't pin teams inside the 20 often and if there was a stat on hangtime, I'm pretty sure we'd rank near the bottom as well. Our punting is by far the biggest eyesore on our team. Some stats for those interested...

I don't think St Germaine was very highly recruited for someone who seemed to boom like he did on those highlight vids....maybe there was not much there....only a frosh tho....miss ole Succop

I can not count the number of times our punt return guy is running backwards to field punts during the game. I do not recall ever seeing the opposing return guy going backwards.

You obviously have not watched his high school film then. Boy was kicking 50 yard field goals in high school.

Yeah the whole kicking game was horrible for most of the season but seemed to get better in the last three or four games (but still not great).
