I didn't want to dig up the old thread where these things occurred, but a lot of people faulted Connor Shaw for not showing support to his teammates, and this should absolutely crush that argument:

"We trust each other on this team. We pull for each other, and that's no different with the quarterback situation,'' Thompson said. "I want Connor Shaw, every time he steps on the field, to go 25 for 25 for 400 yards and five touchdowns. Every time. Honestly, I think he wants the same thing for me.

"I'm sure you can go back and watch it and when he threw a touchdown, I was probably the first one on the field to congratulate him, and vice versa.''

Can that last?

"We both looked at each other after the game and said, we can't wait until next year, and whatever that entails,'' Thompson said.

And if Spurrier can't make up his mind, he can always use both. It worked well enough Tuesday.

These comments were made by a few people, some I genuinely like, but let's just say that we can no longer spread the myth that Shaw and Thompson have any animosity to each other whatsoever. I love having 2 QB's that can play and genuinely like each other.

Being the warrior that Connor is, you could see during that drive he wanted to be on the field. Some might claim envy, but when they scored, he was one of the first guys to hug Dylan. These are the type of guys you need and want on your team. The motto the past view years have been about team w these guys. No selfish accolades. I'm glad they're both on our side.
