One of my friends took his wife to the Outback outside of Conway near Carolina Forest....said they had a 2.5 hour wait, and they didn't think the onion was worth that, so they went to Ruby Tuesday's, which is also located at the outlet mall the OB is located at, instead. They told the waiter there about the wait - he thought they were inconvenienced into waiting forever, which they didn't really wait, just left after finding out - and gave them some complimentary fried onion rings with their meal, lol....

Yeah. I got the joke. Problem is the joke wasn't that funny and also revealed that you and your wife did, indeed, basically scam Outback out of a free onion. Of course it's not a big deal to you, because you obviously have never worked in the restaurant business in a service capacity or have any shame. Congrats. How is it a scam? If they didn't sit together, then they technically were separate parties. It's really no different than if my wife and I had gone to Outback today and taken advantage of the offer, because we weren't able to spend the day together, so why is it a scam just because he and his wife were able to ride to the restaurant together?
