right now we'd be 10th in the ap and 9th in the coaches. if florida loses bad to louisville i guess its possible we jump them, but i think its more likely if they lose that georgia jumps them and they stay ahead of us. the problem with the ou/a&m matchup is if a&m loses oklahoma may leapfrog us. by all rights we should jump the oregon/kansas st loser.

id guess 8th in the coaches, 9th in the ap.

Hey guys. I think we will finish 8th in the final AP. FL is losing (pending loss hopefully), LSU lost and Oregon/KSU loser will have at least 3 losses by top 10 teams. Hopefully A&M will lose to OK. I am hoping for 7th. Maybe no better than 8th even with a FL loss since we got spanked by them. We should be ranked top 8 in the 2013 preseason poll.

Any chance to get to 5? We'd have to jump LSU, Fla,. a&m, Oregon or Kstate. Seems to me Ga might be higher which helps us.

With the way teams have managed to jump us after big wins, or what appeared to be big wins in some cases, I'm actually concerned Clemson and Louisville might get bumped up beyond us. If that were to happen with Louisville, I think we could cry foul because of how much they would have to move, but it's not out of the question for it to happen to Clemson.

I think we end up 8 or 9. And in spite of what we think we will probably get jumped by at least one team.

Making headlines in the top 2 ESPN's top 10 highlights January 1, 3 of the ESPN's Bowl Season highlights, not to mention all the talk on PTI, Around the Horn, NBC Sports Network, every on/offline newspaper outfit (many within minutes of Clowney's hit), will GET A LOT OF ATTENTION! I think some high schoolers might re-think some of their commitments with all the media attention on little ole Columbia.

With LSU and UF out, now for sure top 8. There isn't really any "upset's" looming, but I'd say if there is a "blowout", we'd surely move higher.

You are entitled to your opinion and I appreciate that.

But, I dont think anyone "hates" Carolina. That's the old negative thinking that we've carried for decades. After UGA 2012, I think the squad went to number 2 right? I dont think thats "hate."
