Me thinks K State is overrated. I see nothing in this game so far, that leads me to believe that they will win, or should even be in this game. Their game looks lethargic ........Not the juggernaut they were hyped to be.....

In all fairness, we recruit our cheerleaders to win. They place top 5 consistently at Nationals. Oregon's are good looking, but don't win like ours =)

I even tweeted who I wanted to win the first 3 games and decided last night I wasn't going too. K-State still lost. I think you can guess who I have both tonight (even though it's not BCS) and Monday but I definitely won't vocalizing it, haha

I wish I had seen this thread earlier. I was at the Fiesta Bowl covering it for Expedia. Tweeted a few photos from the game but interesting comments. I will post some photos from the game a bit later including one I've got of Rece, Lou, and Mark. However, here are some comments/observations from the game.

-When I saw Ron Cherry was the ref for that game, I laughed. I swear I immediately thought of my fellow Gamecock fans.
-Kansas State fans are awesome and very underrated. I met a lot of them while I was there. They brought about 40,000 people to this game. I was stunned at the fan support. They had way more fans than Oregon (who tends to travel well).
-Oregon has great cheerleaders but Kansas State female fans fly under the radar for attractiveness. I was impressed.
-University of Phoenix stadium is a great stadium. Not much to look at out on the outside, very modern looking. However, great atmosphere and venue for a game.
-KSU outplayed Oregon in the first half until that last minute. K State nearly doubled them in TOP and yards. Oregon had the KO and 1 drive. K State had a great game plan for the 1st half.
Game completely changed when K State missed the FG and Oregon took it in for a TD. Momentum was completely gone by that point and KSU couldn't get it together in the 2nd half.
-Every person around me in the Oregon section was stunned about the 1 point safety. Like many of you, we had never seen it before.
-Give K State fans credit. Most of them stayed until the very end.
-While there were some reports of drunken behavior, I thought Oregon and K State fans were fantastic, well behaved, and very nice to each other.
-Stadium isn't an ideal location for tailgating but plenty of parking and people were definitely out before the game - esp K State fans.

Overall, it was an entertaining game. I came away impressed by the K State fans I met all weekend. I found myself cheering for them because of how nice they were and the connection with Frank Martin.
