That's true. All these recruiting experts can't possibly know and talk to every recruit all the time. They have sources, too, and read twitter, and message boards. They are sometimes no better than glorified recruitniks on message boards, except they get paid. However, when national recruiting experts say something, it is best not to totally dismiss it as they do have a lot of sources.

Most kids these days want to venture out away from home and explore whatever suits them. South Carolina is away from Maryland, an adventure, and a great program in the SEC with awesome coaching. A seemingly perfect fit for a stud trying to get exposure and make a name for himself.

Not going to knock the kid but I have to laugh when I think a kid is digging Maryland Football. I mean Maryland could not win in the ACC and now they are selling him on going to the BIG 10 where they will be the cellar dweller for years to come. If the kid wants to play for a winning program this is a easy choice.

No disrespect but Maryland football is a joke. It be an easier, less stressful decision for him to stay up there, but he has to know that coming to SC is a much better opportunity.
